Thanksgiving weekend and a lot of progress! I finally got around to
building Merchant's Row II to get "downtown" started. The kit is
simple to build, but requires a lot of painting. Most of the weekend
was spent doing the paiting using all acrylic paint. I used Polyscale
Reefer White, Empire Green and Oxide Red, craft paints brick red and
dark grey (lightened a bit with some white).
I also finished up installation of the Rix highway bridge and paved the road to Rockeater Gravel Co. Lastly, I finished up tinting the rocks along the Raritan Creek. |
